The Artist
One of my earliest memories of photography was during an ice storm in the early 80's when we lost power. I picked up my dad's old Spotmatic 500 Pentax camera and took my very first image. From that moment on, I was hooked. The magic of capturing a moment in time and preserving it forever was an experience that I knew I wanted to continue to explore.
Now, decades later, I still feel that same sense of excitement and wonder every time I pick up a camera immersed in nature, driving down remote roads, or gazing up at the starry night sky, all in pursuit of capturing the breathtaking beauty and wonder of God's creations through my lens.
My hope is that these images speak to you on a personal level, stirring a sense of awe and amazement within you, whether you're gazing up at the starry night sky or admiring the tiniest of flowers or bugs. Thank you for stopping by! I am fortunate to have a talented friend and fellow photographer, Doug Friesen, who has created many of the profile images you see on my page. I am grateful for his contributions to my profile and for his ongoing friendship and support.
